Saturday Mornings

Saturday mornings were such fun when I was kid. It was before we had cable so I remember Saturday morning cartoons. If I got up very early Bullwinkle and Rocky were on, and the Smurfs for like an hour I think. Amazes me I'm having to try and think of other shows. Really kind of depressing. There was the Littles, Garfield and Friends, and of course always classic Bug Bunny cartoons. Then at lunch time it ended. Sad time.

Now I'm all grown up, I'd like to still be watching cartoons. Instead I'm answering phone calls from customers on Saturday mornings. I'm not certain when that became part of my job. What ever happened to doing things during business hours? I guess in our fast paced world that also has become a thing of the past, like my Saturday morning cartoons.
