Well, It's Friday

I'm glad it's Friday. It's been a long week and I'm looking forward to a weekend. I have to pack for 2 trips this weekend. A business trip to South Carolina Monday, and a vacation on Thursday. Guess which trip I'm most looking forward to? It's a tough choice, noisy car plant or cruise ship in Caribbean? Such a tough choice.

In other news, it was a strange day at work today. We were minus 3 employees. Not like gone for the day, more like gone for good. It's going to take a bit of getting used to. I'm a bad frame of reference for changing jobs. I've had once job since college. Still have it as far as I know.

I'm still trying to figure out all of my feelings on all the changes. Hopefully one day I will. I've been so busy with work and my Grandfather, that I had a birthday pass last Saturday without even a notice. As my one or two long time readers know, I'm not that big on birthdays. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the gifts, dinner is nice, cake is great, but no need to sing to me and no need to remind me that I'm a year older.

I still think there are lots of other things I want to write about. I have no clue what they are right now. I have a few thousand thoughts in my head, I think they are stuck. Maybe I should shake my head like the dog does and see if I can shake any of them loose.
