No, this is not going to be some political post about our legal system, but I must say if you are going to be a celebrity and charged with a crime, do it California. Don't believe me, ask Martha how well the East coast worked out for her.

Sara and I spent the night cleaning. Her birthday is tomorrow. She's going to be old. Just kidding, happy birthday.

I love the fact that my idea of cleaning the kitchen counters involved caulk. I'm not sure everyone views wiping off the counter as the perfect time to caulk part of the back splash. Maybe they do.

I'm teaching class this week. Such fun. Teaching already makes for a busy week. Add to that the pressure of getting our house ready to sell and looking at a new house and I'm ready to scream. I don't enjoy dealing with mortgage people, and money and the like. It's just not my kind of fun. I know the option is to have enough money to pay cash for the house, but I don't think I can swing that right now. If I wanted to pay cash we'd be living in a nice tent. I'm not even sure how nice the tent would be.
