It's A Monday

Not the worse Monday ever, but it is a Monday. To start with I walk in the door and our file server has crashed. No big deal, just a restart and it's back up. Next one of our employee's computer dies. Again, no big deal, I have another one. Bad thing is the new one fights me every step of the way installing software and joining the domain. Now Office is fighting me and not wanting to install. Does anyone have a hammer?

Next it looks like my long held hope that the SS Norway would be saved is for naught. The Indian Supreme Court has a hearing on it Thursday, so the ship breakers now plan to beach the ship today. Looks like it's over. I understand it's a 40 year old steam ship and does need to be replaced, I'm just sad to see such a grand cruise ship destroyed. Granted it was the SS France and I have no love for most things French. It does strike me that all the effort to save the ship has come from Australia and the US, the French, who's flagship ocean liner it once was, have made no effort. Sad really.
