I Own Dirt
We bought dirt. Six month's from now that dirt should have a lovely new brick house on it. Right now it's just dirt. I'm mentally dead. The pressure of work, plus buying the house, plus selling the one we're in, plus Sara's birthday, and the total lack of sleep, has made me a walking zombie. I'm not certain anyone will notice the difference.
Maybe in the next little bit I can find a sort of topic for my writings and talk about what it's like trying to sell our house. We've lived in it 7 years. There are things in the attic that should have been tossed out 7 years ago when moved in. Hopefully we can get around to that now. Just to set the stage, we live in the same neighborhood as Edward Scissor Hands, at least that's how it appears. Good news is, it's a fairly hot housing market thanks to a new school zone. Several houses right close to mine have sold in a week. The one across the street went sale pending yesterday after much less than a week. Our house sits on a lot and half, so I'm hoping we can sell it fairly easy. Wish me luck.
Anyone want to buy a house?
