You Go to Hell, You Go to Hell and You Die

Rarely do I develop a strong hatred for a company. Monitronics is one that I hate. Best Buy has joined the list. Sara tried to make an online payment. She entered everything correct on the website, right account number and all, but for some reason the payment did not go through. Not my fault. Best Buy's credit card website is so crappy that they require 2 days to process a payment. That sucks enough. It was 2 days before it was due, so to be safe, we paid the extra $15 for a rush payment to make sure they got it. They emailed me saying, yes, we received your payment. Sara checks the account today and they did not receive the payment. Instead they charged me the $15, plus $25 for a returned check. Kindly notice how they sent an email saying they got the payment, but not a peep saying the payment was refused. As the rude customer service representative pointed out, they published it to your online account. Yes, but you sent me an email saying you got the money, but nothing saying you really didn't.

I call and ask. They have no clue, but are so happy to point out that all the extra charges are correct and they are fully justified in making them. Fine, cancel my card, and they were more than happy to do that. Easiest card I've ever cancelled. I've had the Best Buy credit card for 10 years. it was my first ever credit card, and they rudely told me how $25 was more important than a customer, so I am thrilled not to be a customer anymore. Goodbye.

So thus starts my official boycott of Best Buy. May they lose money as fast as possible.

Let's Add One More

I have another name for my list of "Off To Jail With Them". Add Britney Spears. I know she hasn't been driving drunk, but if the reports are true that she asks her small child to find her lollipops and she's referring to cigarettes, then something is very wrong. Maybe she shouldn't head to jail, but at least a nice hospital with padded walls. When anyone makes Keven Federline look like a good parent, that is a problem.

For Once I Agree With PETA

For the most part I regard P.E.T.A. as standing for "people eating tasty animals". I think they are often nuts, and rank up there the Sierra club and Green Peace. I think the original mission of the groups were good, but they've went, shall we say a little wonky.

Last year when it came to the beaching the SS Norway, I found myself agreeing with Green Peace. Now that Michael Vick has proven to be a moron, I find myself agreeing with PETA. Such a scary thought. For once they are right, he's done terrible things and deserves probably much more punishment than what the courts can legally give him.

So far, I haven't found myself agreeing with the Sierra Club, I still they are nuts who try and kill people by putting metal spikes in trees to stop loggers chain saws and put metal barbs on desert race tracks to stop dirt bikes and ATV's. They seem to feel that killing the logger with a snapping chain saw blade or killer the dirt bike rider when he crashes, is fair enough to save a tree. Like I said, I agree with the core mission, we should not cut every tree on the earth, but they shouldn't be allowed to kill people to prove a point.

Sorry, that was off topic, maybe we should sick the Sierra Club on Michael Vick?

Think Lindsay Is Getting Nervous?

First Paris Hilton, drunk driving, then jail.

Now Nicole Richie, drunk driving, drugs, and going to jail.

Can we get three out of three and send Lindsay to jail also?

Except this time, just keep her there.

Save the Earth

First off, let clear up one thing from the last post. I'm going around hugging treas screaming save the earth, far from it.

I am however really pissed off by hypocrites who will tell you to do one thing, then do the opposite themselves. Sad to say, but that applies to most every celebrity jumping on the save the earth bandwagon.

For example, Leonardo DiCaprio drives a Prius, then chain smokes just to add more pollution to the air.

Al Gore drives a Prius to a rally, followed by a motorcade of several large SUV's. I'm sure he could have ridden in one of them and saved taking the Prius at all.

Madonna gives a concert for global warming, which requires multiple trailer trucks to carry everything for the show.

Anyone see the flaw?

Is It How In Here Or Is It Just Them?

I have a news article that's been bothering me. Whenever the last Democratic debate was each candidate chartered there own private jet to fly from Washington DC to South Carolina. Not one flew commercial, or shared planes. They each paid for a private jet, then stood up in front of the American people to talk about waste in government and global warming. Anyone see the flaw with that? Gore's elaborate energy wasting home in Tennessee is well documented, guess the same can be said for the rest of these champions of the earth.
